BABY BRAIN STILL?

1 year after having Tate I realized your brain just never recovers from pregnancy and having a baby. This became apparent yesterday when my car got stolen!!

There I was casually walking through Kohl's department store. I bought my items and went out to the parking lot with Tate in tow. To my shock I couldn't see where I had parked my 1-day old, brand new, car. I knew I had parked it in a certain spot and it was not there. I searched the whole lot, which only had about 15 cars in it, and no car. I pushed the panic button in an effort to be quided to it, NO NOISE, NO CAR!! At this point I was panicked! My car had been stolen, and Paul was going to kill me because I don't think I locked it. I called Paul and the American Fork Police. After 10 of the most painful, tear-filled minutes, AF's finest called my cell phone. He told me who he was and said he gets a lot of calls from Kohl's about stolen cars, and have I checked in the OTHER parking lot. "What other parking lot? I'm at the Kohl's with only one lot," I shouted in tears. He informed me if I went back inside I would see another set of double doors that would probably lead me to the correct parking lot. My heart sunk, and I was sick, because I knew he was right. Sure enough my new car was sitting nice and shiny where I had parked it. I was humiliated.

I just want to defend myself a little by saying, I had never been to that Kohl's before and the officer did say he has had "a lot" of calls about stolen cars at Kohl's. So obviously I wasn't the only idiot who has done that!!

Tate is so cute. He is so grown up already. I loved your story about your car. I will have to remember that because I might do the same thing. I have the worst sense of direction. Hope you are all doing well.
