I have to admit, Paul and I are major suckers for a "good" deal, especially when it comes to something we really don't need. The other day Paul found an "Adventure Medical Kit" online for 60% off, so naturally we bought it. Today it showed up in the mail and in our defense it is the Holy Grail of first aide kits. It has scalpels (you know for that random surgery I might have to perform) CPR masks, medications, bandages, stethoscope, ointments, just to name a few. I'm just praying for a natural disaster. Looking through this kit got me thinking about the EMT basic course I took years ago. It was the greatest experience and I have always had an itch to get back into the emergency medical field. I wonder if I could pull it off? If not, at least I have a sweet first aide kit to tinker around with!
If you want one for your car or food storage/emergency supplies, we found it on http://www.steepandcheap.com/

I love it. I'm glad to see that someone else has the same problem with buying what you don't need. I have to stay away from the infomercials. I've been all into getting our food storage put together (what do you expect from the newest canning specialist in the North Logan 11th ward) and seeing that kit may just be the finishing touch I need.
