Things have been a little crazy (to say the least) lately. Tate turned two on Jan. 18th and I have been pretty sick ever since. It has been a rough few weeks. I am doing a little better and I can't believe how much love and support Paul and I have received from so many people. I have some amazing neighbors and an even more amazing mom who has spent most of the past few weeks away from home and with us. Tate has gotten spoiled rotten by both Grandmas. I am so lucky to have TWO moms that love and care for us.
Tate has changed so much in just the past few weeks. He is talking like crazy, he knows his colors, he counts to thirteen (that's how many stairs we have, and we count them when we go up and down) and he even knows and recognizes some letters and numbers. He is such a joy in our lives and I can't believe we ever lived without him. Of course, he has made sure to let me know that he is two. Sometimes I wonder where Tate went, and just before I'm about to loose it he says, "com eear, hold you," and then gives me a big hug. I'm helpless against it!

Are you O.K. I hope nothing serious is wrong. I can't believe Tate is two. He is so cute. We are coming to Utah in March. Lets try to get together.
tate is such a cutie! i hope you get to feeling better!! it is the worst to be sick and have kids who want your full, undivided attention.
Those little moments of love they give to you is just precious. I was really upset the other day and Drew said to me "mama, it's time to be happy now, ok!" They are smart little stinkers. I cannot believe he is Two already, Tate is just a darling little man and has such a fun personality. I am sorry you are feeling sick with the pregnancy, I hope you get feeling better soon. If there is anything we can do for you, just let me know!
We could even come and take Tate for the afternoon and have a play date??
P.S. How did you get Tate to learn the colors?? We are working on that with Drew, but let's just say, it is going really SLOW!
I love your blog, Natalie, just want a few more photos and perhaps a video or two. It's the next best thing to having my daughters and their children here with us. I was looking to see if you had posted your seedlings project, or the terrariums.''Love Mom
Ha! Blake and I count the stairs as we go up and down too! Great minds think alike. You really need to do an update (OK- mine is no better). Thanks for dinner! It was amazing...as always.
