Ups and Downs of Motherhood

Gwen is 3 weeks old and cute as ever. Life is a lot more hectic than it used to be, and some days I feel like I am bouncing from child to child non-stop until Paul comes home. Then he is on Tate duty while I do Gwen and we're passing each other throughout the night as we bath, feed, and dress our respective child, then we both collapse in bed until we do it all over again. I know these crazy days don't last, and we are both just trying to enjoy every minute. We are so blessed to have two healthy children.

It was so great to see my little buddy

My little peanut

I did it!!

What a great reward, she is just perfect

The children are adorable! Yes, you and Paul are greatly blessed, and so are we. I am thankful every minute of every day for such wonderful people who are in charge of my grandchildren.

I totally hear you. It gets easier, I promise :) It just takes a bit of time to really get the hang of two! Now that Aiden is mobile, it makes it a bit easier. He is still being bulldozed by Drew, but he is learning to fight back. I think life will be so sweet, especially since you now have a girl and boy. Tate will just be so cute with her. If you ever need to talk, we are only a phone call away. Darling pics.

I think I'll call her Stefani...as in Gwen Stefani. Just kidding. I hear you on the night time routines. At night, all I hear my self say for three hours is, "Go find Daddy...PAUL!"

Nat- it sounds like you guys have got it together pretty good already. It took me 3 months before I felt like a human being. Gwen is so cute. You've got me aching for a little girl. And Taters is looking so old! We've got to figure out a way to get up there before New Years!

i can totally relate...having two kids is crazy plus one. i honestly didn't think much would change having a second. haha! ;) there are many pluses to having two though...you get to wipe another bum, not just one, and you get to hear two little voices cry for you, instead of one.
gwen is a cutie!!
